ABOUT THE COURSES
We offer 15-week courses at all levels from A1 – C2.
You will attend twice a week for two hour classes. You will work in small groups of 4 – 16 people with a fully experienced and knowledgeable ESOL tutor.
You can also come to a set of FREE 1-hour workshops covering conversation,
listening and grammar.
All students are able to take a
Trinity speaking and listening exam
at the end of the course

GENERAL CLASSES COURSE TIMETABLE

Some of our new courses are for different lengths: Citizenship is 2 hours a week for 10 weeks and Advanced Language in Use - Speak Like a Native! - is 2 hours a week for 15 weeks. Our A1 groups for this semester are 4 hours a week for 20 weeks.
A1 ENGLISH BEGINNER
This group is for learners with basic English knowledge.
You will already know things like the alphabet and colours.
You will learn basic English grammar and improve communication in everyday situations.
You will improve and increase your English vocabulary, working in a small group of learners at the same level.
A course book is required and can be bought at the Academy from your tutor.

A2 ENGLISH ELEMENTARY
This group is for learners with an understanding of basic grammar and a wider vocabulary.
You will already understand how to use the present tense and be able to communicate in everyday situations.
You will widen your grammatical knowledge to understand past and continuous tenses and also improve written skills at a basic level as well as continue to improve and extend your vocabulary.
You will work in a small group of learners at the same level.
A course book is required and can be bought at the Academy from your tutor.

B1 ENGLISH INTERMEDIATE
This group is for learners with a solid knowledge and understanding
of English grammar.
You will already understand how to use present, past and continuous tenses and will learn more advanced structures such as perfect and future tenses.
Your vocabulary will extend and develop so you can use more complex language in a range of situations in everyday life.
You will further develop written skills including letter writing and form filling. You will work in a small group of learners at the same level.
A course book is required and can be bought at the Academy from your tutor.

B2 ENGLISH UPPER INTERMEDIATE
This group is for learners with a comprehensive and confident level of English.
You will already understand how to use a range of tenses and more complex grammatical structures and will learn advanced structures such as past perfect and passive tenses enabling you to compose essays, reports and proposals as well as studying slang and idiomatic English.
Students at this level will enhance their employment and educational opportunities. You will work in a small group of learners at the same level.
