At The Cheshire Language Academy, we teach English to adults from all over the world.
Whether you’re just starting (A1 beginner) or you’re almost fluent (C1 advanced), we have the perfect classes for you.
You can choose to improve your everyday communication skills or complete a full course to reach a new English level. It’s totally up to you! Plus, we love to explore! Every course includes fun visits and activities to help you experience more of the UK.

How many levels do you offer?
We have eight levels from Beginner A1 to Advanced C1+. We also have special classes to help you with specific skills like pronunciation, slang or listening.
How do I find my level?
Don’t worry! When you come to enrol, we’ll talk with you about your current English skills and help you find the best class for your level.
When can I start a course?
You can join our full level group classes twice a year (In February and September) We start new skills classes and exam preparation classes every 5 – 10 weeks. If those times don’t work, we also offer private lessons that you can start at any time!
How big are the classes?
Our classes are small and friendly, with a maximum of 16 students. We make learning fun for everyone!
How often will I come to class?
Our courses run for 5, 10 or 15 weeks, with 2 or 4 hours of class each week. We have different options, so you can choose what works for you. One to one sessions are flexible to your needs.
How much do courses cost?
A 60-hour full level course costs £500. A 30-hour course costs £275. English for Work courses cost £295. You can see all our prices on our [Link to Price List page].
Where and when are the classes?
The Cheshire Language Academy is in Warrington town centre. We’re very close to the bus and train stations (just a 5-minute walk!). We also have some online classes for flexibility. Click here for more information on where we are. Classes are offered morning, afternoon and evening.
How will I learn in class?
You’ll use a course book and practise all the important English skills: reading, writing, grammar, speaking, and listening. Our experienced tutors use a large screen so you can easily follow along. Our classes are always friendly and fun!
Can I take an exam?
Yes! Besides our general English courses, we offer special classes to prepare you for IELTS, Trinity exams, and the B1 SELT speaking test
